06-12 Sip, Make,Play - clay garlic grater

Adults Only; shape and sculpt your own garlic grater out of clay! 

During this Sip, Make, Play students will be introduced to shaping clay into a garlic grater and painting it with underglaze. Students will use raw clay and the pinch pot method to make a dish then using tools will press a design into the clay which will, when fired, be a good surface for grating garlic or ginger. You’ll personalize your own piece of pottery and leave it with the Studio staff to be fired in our kiln. Pick up of your ceramic piece will be arranged during the workshop. 

Drinks and snack will be served. All included in the workshop fee.
