Shape, Color, ACTION is a 6 session course dedicated to developing confidence in drawing and painting. Students will nurture their unique artistic style while strengthening their observational drawing skills and understanding of color, shape and composition.

MaryJo Allegra (MarySlo) joins The Studio at Gallery North in 2026 as Lead Educator. A graduate of Pratt Institute and Teachers College, MarySlo has taught in progressive independent schools for a quarter of a century. She has worked alongside teaching artists at The School at Columbia University, Ross School and Friends Academy.
