During Mixed Media Explorations, students will deepen their relationship to color, shape and composition. Throughout this 6 week session, students will develop their skills and confidence in painting, drawing, collage and printmaking.
Meeting Wednesdays: September 16, 23, 30, October 7, 14 & 21
About MaryJo
MaryJo Allegra is a lifelong learner and maker. A collaborator at heart, she has been making art alongside children and adults in her local community and in progressive independent schools for a quarter of a century. MaryJo joins The Studio at Gallery North after teaching art to children ages 2-18 at The School at Columbia University, Ross School and Friends Academy. A believer that Art Is For Everyone, MaryJo is passionate about supporting makers of all ages and abilities in developing their creative confidence and deepening their trust in the messy, yet rewarding, art making process.
