11-10 The Freedom of Abstraction with Sue Contessa

Are you curious about abstraction? Join master painter, Sue Contessa, for a deep dive into exploring the artistic freedom of abstract art. Students will learn how to trust their intuition and develop a personal relationship with the elements and principles of design. Participants will experiment with the ways that line, color, shape, form and texture can create visually exciting compositions. Emphasis will be placed on how to rely on these fundamentals of art while trusting the creative process and our inherent creativity. In this three session course, students will explore a variety of different approaches to abstraction while developing their own personal unique style. Whether you are a seasoned artist or just starting out, this course will offer all a supportive and encouraging environment to nurture your abstract voice.
