Basic Sewing for Kids Winter Session

Meeting Thursdays (January 8, 15, 22, 29, February 5 & 12)

4:30pm - 6pm

Ages 6-13 years

In this class students will be designing and sewing their own stuffed animals by hand. Students will learn various hand sewing techniques to make these stuffies, we will use whip stitch, running stitch, back stitch and muppet stitch. Students will also learn about pattern making, having access to 100 original patterns varying in complexity. Each student can also design and make their own pattern and use it to create an original stuffed animal all their own.
