Come join us for this free workshop and learn how to make a ZINE! A zine, shortened from "magazine", is a small handmade book with a powerful counter cultural history. In the workshop, participants will learn about the history of zines, create their own zine from everyday materials, and make a page to contribute to a community zine that will be available in the gallery and local libraries.

About our 2024 Fellow, Nate:

Nate is a local, practicing, artist joining Gallery North from Rocky Point. After studying creative writing, illustration and studio art at Stony Brook University and Pacific Northwest College of Art, Nate completed a two year fellowship with the Atelier at Flowerfield. They have a deep knowledge of painting and drawing, which they are eager to share with the Gallery North community. Nate looks forward to spending time in the Studio and deepening their knowledge of printmaking.
