Collection: Schery Markee-Sullivan

Schery Markee Sullivan began her formal training with Robert Kaupelis at NYU. Her paintings are defined by a dynamic expression of color, line, and vibrant energy. Ranging in scope from elegant florals to intricate collages, abstracts and primitive creature pieces or powerful figurative paintings, the work is a diverse spectrum of creative force. Schery works on canvas and paper in various media in two dimensional work and also does paper sculptures of the worry doll series as well as hand made greeting cards. The artist continues her work in the following series: mother and child, instincts, brooklyn, worry dolls, downtown, dragon, and of course, florals and pure abstracts.
