Collection: Amanda Ward

Raised by an artist, Amanda Ward either inherited or learned the ability to create. In 2018, after her children were off to college, she began working with clay at The Brick Studio in Saint James, where she discovered both the satisfying, therapeutic nature of the medium and a strong sense of community. Amanda began on the wheel and continued to value its discipline, later expanding into hand-building, which opened new possibilities for form and expression. While her work moves in many directions, Amanda is consistently drawn to houses as a recurring motif. These forms explore ideas of place, memory, and belonging—suggesting imagined villages or the quiet comfort of a cozy home.
