"Within each art piece, personal memories and experiences can be discerned weaving throughout the canvas. I employ those elements as a means of showcasing human communication, more as a visual element than a textual one, inviting the viewer to craft their own interpretation."

Paul Walsh is a Long Island based artist. Walsh's career in art began in the late 1970s at the Traphagen School of Art where he majored in Fashion Illustration. He then transferred to FIT to study Advertising Design.

Walsh finds inspiration from his experiences growing up in Dublin, Ireland and emigrating at a young age to the United States. Using acrylic paints, colored pencils and various inks, Walsh creates a body of work that he describes as Street Art, Flat Illustration Style, Portraits, Architecture and Americana/Folk Art.
