Jurassic Week! ArtVentures Summer 2023

Make Art, Make Friends & Make Creative Memories!!

$550 for the week

$330 for sibling ( sibling rate can only be applied to siblings registered in the same week.)

Join us for ArtVentures Summer Program 2023 where students will work with some of Long Island's best artists and educators! 

Send your child on a creative adventure through the Jurassic period! We will be drawing, painting and printing artwork illustrating our unique takes on what life was like way back then!

Students will:

• Learn about local art
  

• Create inspired art pieces

• Imagine their own period plants and animals
  

• Create a Jurassic themed costume
  

• Draw, paint & more!

All materials are included along with a sketchbook and ArtVentures t-shirt for each child. Each day begins with some time to get to know one another and an introduction to daily projects. Children will work individually and collaboratively to create unique works of art. We will spend a TON of time outdoors, taking advantage of Gallery North’s sprawling campus. Lunch time will be spent picnicking around the gallery pond and snacks (given twice daily) will be on our terrace. A group Show & Share Exhibition will be held the last day to celebrate everyone’s creative accomplishments! All family and friends are welcome join us for the end of week exhibition.

Students must bring a bag lunch, water bottle & a towel or blanket to sit on outdoors.. Snack is provided.
