Counselor in Training for Summer 2023

This exciting new initiative is for the ArtVentures fan who has aged out of our program but still wants to have a creative hand in all that we do! This Counselor in Training (CIT) program is for students 12-15 years who are looking to help with our daily summer program activities. CIT’s will play the role of a teacher’s assistant, and serve as positive role models for the younger students enrolled in our program. CIT’s will help create a supportive creative community while supervising and assisting throughout the day. In addition they will have some time to create artwork themselves.

Tweens/Teens that participate in our CIT program will have the opportunity to work as an ArtVentures counselor in the future.

The Schedule:

-Arrival 8:55am (to help with student check in & free drawing time)

-Dismissal 3:05 (to assist with student pick up)

-The week your tween/teen chooses to join us they will be required to spend all five days assisting. (if a special schedule is required just contact Larissa Grass at education@gallerynorth.org. Accommodations can always be made)

-CITs must bring their own lunch. The Studio provides snack twice a day.

-CITs will assist with projects, handing out snack, clean up/set up, assisting teachers with lessons & helping during recess time.
